HOW TO STYLE THE SHIRT DRESS: LOOK 2

Friday, September 18, 2015

Hi Loves.

I hope you have all been fairing very well this past week.

First off, thank you for all who participated in the giveaway. The winners are as follows:

Mercy Muthoni : Layering Sophistication
Elle Okumu : Arm Candy
Linda Otiende : Matchy in Blue Hints.

Kindly inbox me your contact details via the Facebook .

Congratulations to all the winners and lot's of gratitude to all who gave it a try.

Moving on to the outfit gracing the blog today. I have mentioned before how I love Kimonos and generally any flowy cover-ups. Remember this sporty look , I decided styled my Shirt dress as a cover-up for the bare mid-section. I love how it flows in the wind and the fact that this look can be worn in so many ways.

That's it for the shirt dress series muffins.
Needless to say I love both looks but I mostly wear look 1 since it's more within my style.....ok, they both are (for those who know me well, then they would probably bet on look 2) but am currently very intrigued by modest looks.

Shirt Dress: Gikomba | Sports Bra: Old | Denim wash Pants: Thrifted | Shoes: Muthurwa | Accessories: Shee Art

Have a great weekend loves.

Much Love,

Linet.

  4. Can it get any prettier than this? I was just thinking in my head how you can also wear this shirt with a midi skirt and it would also look just as beautiful as it is with the trouser! And that red color is really a head turner hunny!! I'm feeling so inspired right now Linet! Love it...

  7. This is such a good idea on how to style it! Considering that these long cardi-vests are a big thing now, it is a good idea to convert your shirt dress to one of them! I love it :)
