OF SPORTS AND FITNESS ROUTINES

Monday, August 24, 2015

Hi munchkins.

I hope you had a lovely weekend, and a better start at this week.

Is it just me or did someone press fast forward on 2015? August is almost over bringing us to the last quarter of this year. Or maybe that's how it feels when your life get's a little more busy hence you have more on your mind and 365 days aren't enough anymore......that makes more sense, right?

Today's post features a by the way look. It wasn't on my mind when I went for the shoot but it happened to be captured. It is as much of a by the way as sports and fitness are in my life. I am guilty of being relatively inactive when it comes to fitness.....but believe me when I say I've tried.
This outfit however reminds me of sports and fitness.....my ideal sporty look.

The closest I've come to a fitness routine was earlier this year when I did butt exercises for 1 month...yes I had to see it for myself. However, all through that month, I could barely take the stairs to class. Getting to class on the 3rd floor became a serious challenge for me because the back of my thighs would ache so much by the time I got to the 3rd floor.
Funny enough it worked and am not a doubting Thomas anymore when it comes to butt exercises. I bet if I'd stuck to it for a few more months I'd be sporting one curvy derriere.....but oh well...better luck next time.

On a serious note though: when am not chasing a flat tummy, curvy derrieres and lean arms...am of the opinion that fitness is important in our lives. You might not take part in sports or have a fitness routine but make sure that you are physically active in whatever small way.

Anyway, what do you guys do to keep fit? I'd love to know your tricks and routines......kindly share in the comment section below.

When this pic was taken, Ngash and I were chasing this golden moment as the setting sun shone specifically on this tree......if you are keen on sunsets you know what I mean.

Sports Bra (worn as top): Old | Denim wash pants: Thrifted | Plaid Sneakers: Gikomba | Accessories: Shee Art | Make up: Wanjiru Mungai

The sun finally disappeared, but not before you get a glimpse of more amazing jewelry from Shee Art. Am extremely fond of these ones cause of their turquoise color.
Look out for a giveaway soon muffins, one of these pieces might just land in your collection.....Yaaaaay!

Have a lovely week ahead loves.

Much Love,

Linet

  11. Haha.. I had to giggle at that part where it was a nightmare to go to class. The struggle is real ma but giving up isn't an option right? But that one.month work did an amazing job. The booty is looking good! I think on this rate it would be advisable to continue with the exercises for even much better results! I have been trying some yoga for somewhile now. I even had a conversation yesterday with the hubs asking him how they do all that magic with their legs and body! Yoga is amazing!! I'm not so consistent with sports but I always make sure I'm.active in all that I do! Wonderful post Liner

  18. Awesome share about the sports and fitness routines. I am so happy with these details. Keep sharing such posts here. Even I am going to purchase the leggings and the sports bra in cross strap from the brand beyond yoga because their apparels are made especially for rigid yoga poses.
