THE BELTED SCARF

Hi y'all.

For the longest time, I wanted to try out the Belted Scarf trend because it appeals to me in so many ways, and it's so practical for the cold season. When doing the belted scarf, you want to have a scarf with character which is often in the prints and design. I found the perfect one in Toi Market for just Kshs 20. These prints always give me some European vibes....no idea why.

This is also the outfit I wore for the Winter Work Wear bloggers challenge. When I paired this look for Winter (A.K.A July in Kenya), I had in mind the Woman who likes skirts to the office and still wants to show off her legs despite the cold. I majored on covering my upper body because it's the most vulnerable when it comes to cold.

If this doesn't work for you, add a pair of 'Stockings' or boots to keep your legs warm.
I would have but right now am not feeling any of my boots, I need a serious upgrade in that department....some sexy thigh high *stripper heel* boots.

Anyway, hope this month doesn't take a toll on your style my fellow Kenyans.....you don't have to own a trench coat or boots to get through this cold weather, but it's better if you do. Till then, work with what you have.

For the rest of my International readers who are enjoying Summer, have a good one.

Do enjoy.

  15. The belted scarf in one of the trends I'm loving but in the weather in Nigeria you'll die of heat lol. Anyways I love your scarf, definitely agree with you that a scarf with character is necessary. I love how the prints just spice up this monochrome look.
