Hi Muffins,

First off, let me talk about my Nail journey. Once before, I mentioned how very brittle my nails are. I used to hear about Henna strengthening the nails but didn't take it seriously until two years ago when I first tried it. It hasn't been an easy ride (the entire application procedure and having lapsed for a few months last year) but am getting there. From the picture above, you notice how successful it was this time round. It's darker and I can promise you that I haven't broken a nail since I applied it.

Moving on to the outfit which I wore sometime last week.

I have always been intrigued by the Mini Skirt, so much so that in my 2nd year in campus I owned  so many of them never mind that they almost got me stripped ( and other awkward situations) every single time I wore them. Believe me, I tried for so long to hold my head high but I finally caved in and stopped wearing them.
I gave most of them to friends and relatives, but I held on to this one (it got me into the most trouble).

I'm still nowhere close to wearing the Mini in broad daylight without covering as much skin as possible. On this bright Monday morning, I resulted to my thigh high boots to create a much needed illusion.

Paired the skirt with this body con dress worn as a top, a white blazer, green sunglasses, a green necklace, an orange clutch and these long forgotten thigh high boots.

Chose the dress/top because of the neckline which goes well with the neck piece.

    1. Well, thanks Almasi. Usually, the skirt has to be longer than the dress, and not so tight so as not to reveal the dress hemline. That's how it works for me. I often go with body-con dresses and skirts with a little flare. Hope that helps.

      Glad you stopped by.

    1. I also didn't believe it until I paid for them and left...i kept thinking the vendor had the price wrong. Downtown can be a nightmare when in a Mini, definitely not the place to be in one.
      Thanks for stopping by.

  10. I love the color combination. I adore that necklace of yours. I think I saw something like that from a retail fashion accessories and jewelry shop. Anyway, you are stunning young lady, as always. Keep it up.
